The Plains Hotel opened in 1911 as Cheyenne, Wyoming's premiere full service hotel. The hotel rests gracefully in the heart of downtown Cheyenne and has been recently renovated. A remarkable stained glass skylight hovers above the two-story lobby representing each of the planets surrounded by quotes engraved in the crown molding such as, "Nothing but the best." This quote was the inspiration for the hotel's detailing. The hotel was renovated in 2002 inspired by Molesworth craftsmanship. The Plains Hotel's renovation has renewed its former glory and continues to set the standard for Western Hospitality in "The Magic City by the Plains".

Welcome to the Plains Hotel!

Thanks for visiting our new blog spot for the Plains Hotel! This is the first of many blogs to come where we will be posting updates and news frequently to make it easier for our guests to stay in touch. Upcoming events will also be posted, so please consider these postings to be an invitation to join us for any upcoming events.

Our new Sales Manager, Bobbie Reeder, started today so we would like to welcome her to the Sales Division! She has an extensive hospitality background and comes to us from Loveland, Colorado.
